This allows us to leave your property as tidy as physically possible upon completion.

We scrape moss from the ridge tiles down each pitch of your roof. Manually scraping moss from the face and lip of each tile using telescopic poles with a range of specially designed roof cleaning scraper heads.
Step 6 – Blow Loose Debris Off The Roof
We use a leaf blower to remove loose debris from the roof tiles after scraping.
This ensures the roof tiles are ready for biocide application.
Step 7 – Gutter Cleaning
We clean your gutter of debris, check that downspouts and each downpipe that is safely accessible is clear.
Gutters are cleared using ladders where safe, our gutter vacuum system or from the cherry picker if one is onsite.

Our team carries out a thorough tidy up on ground level, using a leaf blower, shovel and brooms they ensure to clear up debris in each area on ground level.
We always aim to leave the ground of your property tidier than when we arrived!

Roof Moss Removal, Cleaning & Treatment Services – FAQ’s
Do you need to visit my property to provide a quote?
No. We are able to provide quotations based on viewing your property on Google Street View / Google Earth.
If we have any reservations regarding safe access then we either ask for photos or arrange an on site survey.
If you prefer us to come out and provide an on site quotation for your roof cleaning requirements then this can be arranged.
Do you carry out roof repairs?
Yes, our team are fully proficient in repairing roofs, from replacing broken roof tiles to rebedding a complete ridge. While cleaning your roof we will carry out a physical roof inspection, checking the roof condition for any problems – which we report back to you on, along with photos.
Do you also steam clean or pressure wash roofs?
Yes, we do provide a hot pressure washing service for properties with natural roofing slates or clay tiles requiring an instant transformation.
We do however always recommend manual scraping of moss from all domestic rooftops, followed by a biocide roof treatment.
Do I need to be at home when you clean my roof?
No. We just need access all around the exterior of your property.
Ideally we require access to an external water supply. The water is used to mix the Biocide treatment to the correct ratio in preparation for application to your roof surfaces.
How and When do I Pay for your services?
We accept payment for our services via BACS.
Upon completion of your roof cleaning service we send an invoice via email and SMS.
The invoice contains details for payment via bank transfer. We ask that the payment is completed within 3 working days.
How Long Does The Biocide Treatment Last For?
Biocide treatment will last for 3 to 10 years depending upon localized environmental factors.
Localized factors affecting the speed of moss regrowth include the location of the roof, direction the roof pitch is facing and the proximity to tall trees along with any other factors such as TV aerials which allow birds to perch and drop their nutrient rich droppings onto your roof.
We provide a 3 year moss free guarantee, if you start to see moss to grow within 3 years, simply send us images or a video and then we will return, rescrape the moss and re-apply the biocide at no additional charge.
How Does Your Moss Free Gurantee Work?
Our roof moss removal and treatment service comes with a 3 year moss free guarantee.
If moss begins growing on your roof within 3 years of the date of your roof clean then we will return free of charge.
On the revisit we will scrape fresh moss from the roof tiles, clear the gutters of that section and re-treat the affected roof pitch.
